A man from Cwmbran has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a flat fire.
The 49-year-old had been taken to the Royal Gwent Hospital in Newport with smoke inhalation.
29-year-old Samanthan Thomas from Cwmbran died in the blaze at a block of four flats.
