An Australian who died at the age of 76 has been roasted in a scathing obituary published in one of of the country's biggest newspapers.
The South Australian died in Adelaide on Wednesday, March 29.
While most death notices are emotional odes to loved ones, the author of this obituary published a brutal message three days after his death.
In the 24-word death notice, published in the tributes section of The Advertiser's Saturday newspaper, the author of the obit calls on the man to 'rot in hell'.

'Lived 76 years too long,' the obituary reads.
'A man who only wanted his "little ray of twisted sunshine" (narcissistic with a superiority complex) ROT IN HELL.'
The obituary was also published online but has since been deleted from the 'mytributes' page on the newspaper's website.
The online obituary claimed the man "abandoned" four of his children and pointed to his a fifth child as the 'controlling narcissist'.
Daily Mail Australia has contacted the man's daughter for comment.
